PPG-425 polyol is slightly hygroscopic and absorbs water. Containers should be kept tightly sealed to prevent contamination from moisture and foreign matter, which can adversely affect product quality. This polyol becomes very viscous at low temperatures.

PPG-425 is a 425 molecular weight polypropylene glycol. The terminal end groups are mainly secondary hydroxyl groups and have relatively low reactivity. It is compatible with some polyether polyols and can be blended with other diols or triols to achieve desired product property modifications.
